Pacific Islander Club
Cascade Middle School Pacific Islander club is open to all students. As a club, we meet once a week to learn Pacific Islander culture through food, dance, art and history and explore unique ways to share our culture with our school and community.
Recording Studio
We're getting ready to open a YES! Recording Studio at Cascade! Through the studio and under the direction of YES! staff, CMS students will have an opportunity to learn how to make their own beats, write their own lyrics and produce their own tracks! Also, they will be able to design and create their own Cascade Student Podcast!
Garden & Cooking Club
Cascade's Garden Club has been a student favorite for years! We are thrilled to be part of what is now the Garden & Cooking Club through volunteering, sharing resources and of course, building relationships with CMS students!
Wood Shop Club
We have partnered with Cascade MS teachers to provide a Wood Shop Club to be part of the school's after school programming! This is a popular club that meets once week in what was originally the school's wood shop then turned computer lab, then turned school storage, and now returned back to the wood shop! While learning the fundamentals of wood working and safe handling of all tools, students also learn measuring, cutting and fitting pieces together which reinforces math skills. Students become proficient in using different kinds of wood and getting to know their different features and benefits, and use of woodworking tools teaches them about science and safe working practices. Students are also working on themed projects that benefit our school and community! Being able to build and complete projects that are used at home or become gifts for loved ones builds confidence and self reliability!
